A couple had a dog that snored so loudly every night that neither of them could sleep.
After weeks of restless nights, the wife decided to visit the veterinarian and ask for advice.
The vet smiled and said, “Before trying anything complicated, make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise during the day. A tired dog usually sleeps much more quietly.”
The wife thanked him and decided to give it a try.
That afternoon, she took the dog on a long walk through the park. They played fetch, chased a ball, and even climbed a few small hills.
By the time they got home, the dog was completely worn out.
That night, the dog curled up in its bed, closed its eyes, and fell asleep almost immediately.
The wife waited for the familiar thunder-like snoring.
Nothing.
She smiled and whispered to her husband, “I think we finally found the secret.”
The husband laughed.
“So the cure wasn’t magic after all.”
“No,” she replied. “It was just a very long walk.”
From then on, the evening walks became a daily routine, and everyone in the house enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep.
