One rainy evening, a man walked into his local bar carrying a frog in one hand and an iguana in the other. The regular customers stopped chatting and stared as he carefully placed both animals on the counter.
The bartender raised an eyebrow. “That’s an unusual pair of pets.”
The man smiled confidently. “Maybe. But I bet you $1000 that my frog can sing any song you can think of.”
The bar burst into laughter.
“A singing frog?” the bartender said. “You’re joking.”
“Try me,” replied the man.
The bartender thought for a moment. “Fine. Have your frog sing ‘Happy Birthday.'”
The frog cleared its throat and croaked out a surprisingly perfect version of the song. The entire bar fell silent.
“No way!” shouted one customer.
“Another song!” yelled another.
The bartender quickly named a famous rock song. Again, the frog sang it flawlessly. The crowd erupted in applause.
Shaking his head in disbelief, the bartender handed over the $1000.
As the man collected the money, a customer pointed at the iguana.
“What does the iguana do?”
The man grinned. “Nothing.”
“Then why bring it?”
The man leaned closer and whispered, “Because the frog thinks it’s his manager.”
The frog immediately puffed up with pride while the iguana remained completely motionless.
The bartender laughed so hard he nearly dropped a glass.
