A woman went shopping one afternoon. When she reached the checkout counter, she opened her purse to pay for her groceries.
As she searched for her wallet, the cashier noticed a TV remote inside her purse.
Unable to hide his curiosity, he smiled and asked, “Do you always carry your TV remote with you?”
The woman laughed.
“Not usually,” she replied. “I was in such a hurry to leave the house that I grabbed the first thing on the coffee table instead of my phone.”
The cashier chuckled.
“So you’ve been carrying it around all day?”
She nodded.
“I even tried unlocking my car with it before I realized my mistake.”
The people waiting in line couldn’t help but laugh.
The cashier handed her the receipt and said, “Well, at least you didn’t try changing the TV channel with your car keys.”
The woman smiled.
“Don’t give me ideas. Tomorrow might be even more interesting.”
