A three-year-old boy was sitting on the toilet for a very long time.
His mother began to wonder what was taking so long, so she walked over to check on him.
When she opened the door, she found him calmly sitting there with a book in his hands.
“What are you doing?” she asked.
The little boy looked up and proudly replied, “I’m reading!”
His mother smiled. “That’s nice, but you’ve been in here forever.”
The boy nodded seriously and turned another page.
A few minutes later, she checked on him again.
Still sitting there.
Still reading.
Still not finished.
Curious, she asked, “Is the book really that interesting?”
The boy sighed and closed it.
“Not really.”
“Then why are you taking so long?” his mother asked.
The little boy held up the book and said, “Because every page says ‘Turn me over,’ and I’m waiting for somebody to help me!”
His mother stared at the book for a second before realizing he was holding it upside down the entire time.
The boy grinned.
At least he had finally finished reading it.
