Delicious vampire fudge: a spooktacular, no-bake halloween treat with a bloody twist recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
  • Red gel food coloring
  • Optional: Edible sugar eyes

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides. This will help you easily remove the fudge later.
  2. Step 2: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Step 3: Stir in the vanilla extract and salt until well combined. Divide the fudge mixture in half into two separate bowls.
  4. Step 4: To one bowl of fudge, stir in the marshmallow fluff until evenly distributed. Pour this mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread into an even layer.
  5. Step 5: To the remaining bowl of fudge, add red gel food coloring, a few drops at a time, until you achieve your desired "bloody" red color. Swirl the red fudge over the marshmallow fudge base, creating a marbled effect.
  6. Step 6: If desired, gently press edible sugar eyes into the top of the fudge. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm. Use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge out of the pan and cut into squares before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftover Vampire Fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week to maintain its firm texture and spooky good looks.
  • Though best enjoyed chilled, a few seconds in the microwave can soften individual squares if you prefer a slightly gooier, bloodier treat.
  • Serve this spooktacular fudge alongside dry ice for a chillingly dramatic presentation that's sure to impress your guests.
  • When swirling the red fudge, don't overmix; a defined marbled effect makes the "blood" pop for maximum fright factor.
