- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 15 maraschino cherries, drained
- 15 small pretzels
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles

- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Prepare three separate bowls: one for melting the semi-sweet chocolate, one for the white chocolate, and one for the milk chocolate. Add a teaspoon of vegetable oil to each bowl (optional). Melt each type of chocolate separately in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth and melted.
- Step 2: Insert a pretzel into the bottom of each maraschino cherry.
- Step 3: Dip each cherry-pretzel combination into the melted semi-sweet chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Step 4: Once the semi-sweet chocolate has slightly set (but is still slightly tacky), drizzle melted white chocolate and milk chocolate over the semi-sweet chocolate-covered cherries, creating a patriotic effect of red, white, and blue.
- Step 5: Immediately sprinkle the desired sprinkles over the wet chocolate. For an added crunch, sprinkle with chopped nuts before the chocolate sets completely.
- Step 6: Refrigerate the "Cherry Bombs" for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to fully set. Enjoy!
