Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Step 2: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Stir in the maple syrup until evenly distributed.
- Step 4: Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
- Step 5: Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Step 6: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
