Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup minced garlic
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, gently combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper. Avoid overmixing, as this can make the burgers tough.
- Step 2: Shape the meat mixture into 4 equal-sized meatballs, slightly larger than the hamburger buns.
- Step 3: Place the meatballs onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Step 4: While the meatballs are baking, lightly toast the hamburger buns.
- Step 5: Once the meatballs are cooked, gently flatten each one slightly with a spatula to create a burger patty shape.
- Step 6: Serve the "burger bombs" on the toasted buns. Add your favorite burger toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese.
Notes
- Store leftover bombs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat gently in a skillet over medium heat for best results, ensuring they're heated through.
- Serve these cheesy bombs with a side of crispy fries and a creamy garlic aioli for a truly decadent meal.
- For extra garlicky flavor, add a sprinkle of garlic powder to the meat mixture before shaping the bombs.
