Ingredients
- Bowtie Pasta: 1 pound
- Ground Beef: 1 pound
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Heavy Cream: 1 cup
- Parmesan Cheese: 1/2 cup, grated
- Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
- Dried Oregano: 1 teaspoon
- Salt and Pepper: To taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Step 2: While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Step 3: Add the minced garlic and dried oregano to the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Step 4: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 5: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the creamy beef sauce and toss to coat.
- Step 6: Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For best results, reheat gently in a skillet over low heat, adding a splash of milk or cream if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Serve this pasta with a simple side salad and some crusty garlic bread to round out the meal.
- Don't overcook the garlic; adding it at the end prevents it from burning and ensures a sweeter, more pronounced flavor.
