- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 4 slices bread (your choice – sourdough, wheat, etc.)
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 8 leaves lettuce, washed and dried
- 1 avocado, mashed (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Spread mayonnaise evenly on one side of each bread slice.
- Step 2: Layer lettuce leaves on one half of each bread slice.
- Step 3: Top the lettuce with tomato slices, crumbled bacon, and mashed avocado (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 4: Fold the other half of the bread slice over the filling to create a sandwich.
- Step 5: Cut each sandwich in half diagonally to make two wraps. Enjoy immediately!
Notes
- For best results, enjoy your BLT wraps immediately, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a day in an airtight container.
- Reheat leftover wraps gently in a microwave for 15-20 seconds to refresh the bread and melt the avocado if used.
- Serve these wraps with a side of crispy potato wedges or a fresh green salad for a complete and satisfying meal.
