  • 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, smoked paprika, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  3. Step 3: Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the spice mixture. Make sure the spice mixture gets under the skin as well.
  4. Step 4: Arrange the chicken thighs skin-side up in a single layer in a baking dish.
  5. Step 5: Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy and golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
