Instructions
- Step 1: Whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
- Step 2: Gently fold in the blueberries, strawberries, and pecans (if using).
- Step 3: Fill each waffle cone about 2/3 full with the whipped cream mixture.
- Step 4: Top each filled waffle cone with a generous sprinkle of red, white, and blue sprinkles.
- Step 5: Refrigerate the filled waffle cones for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the whipped cream to firm up.
Notes
- Store leftover waffle cones in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- For a warm, gooey treat, gently microwave reheated cones for 10-15 seconds.
